Stack buffer overflow in Greenbone's OpenVAS Scanner and Greenbone OS allows a remote attacker holding user-level privileges to achieve full system compromise by supplying a malicious or compromised NASL vulnerability test (VT). Both the Greenbone OS platform and the openvas-scanner engine are confirmed affected, making this a meaningful risk in any multi-user GVM deployment or environment where user accounts may be compromised.
