Ip2Location Country Blocker
Monthly
IP-based geo-restriction bypass in IP2Location Country Blocker for WordPress (all versions before 2.45.0) allows unauthenticated remote attackers to access restricted pages, links, or entire sites by forging the X-Real-IP HTTP header with an allowlisted IP address. The plugin resolves the client's country from this user-controlled header without validating it against the actual TCP connection source, making any IP-based access control rule trivially defeatable. No public exploit or active exploitation has been confirmed, but SSVC classifies the attack as automatable with partial technical impact.
WordPress Plugin IP2Location Country Blocker 2.26.7 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary JavaScript code through the Frontend. Rated medium severity (CVSS 5.1), this vulnerability is remotely exploitable, low attack complexity. Public exploit code available and no vendor patch available.
