Stored cross-site scripting in the Hustle WordPress plugin through 7.8.14.3 allows an authenticated account with the hustle_edit_module capability to place arbitrary script in the content[cta_label] field, which executes when a page renders the affected Hustle module. By default that capability is limited to Administrators, so lower-role exploitation-including from Subscriber-requires a site owner to have delegated hustle_edit_module through the plugin’s Permissions screen. This is a moderate, low-urgency issue, and no public exploit was identified at time of analysis.
Stored cross-site scripting in the Hustle email marketing and popup plugin for WordPress (all versions up to and including 7.8.14.3) allows an authenticated user to inject arbitrary script through the 'content[title]' parameter of a Hustle module, which is persisted and later rendered without adequate sanitization or output escaping. The CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N, 6.4) reflects authenticated network access with a scope change, but the practical precondition is significant: an administrator must first grant the plugin's non-default 'Create and Update Modules' capability (hustle_create / hustle_edit_module) to the attacker's role via Settings → Permissions, so standard installations without delegated roles are not exploitable by non-admins. No public exploit code and no confirmed active exploitation were identified at time of analysis; impact depends on another user, potentially an administrator, subsequently viewing the injected module content.
