Unauthenticated PHP object injection in the ThemeRex Education Center WordPress theme (versions up to and including 3.6.12) lets remote attackers feed serialized data into an unserialize() sink with no authentication and no user interaction, scored CVSS 9.8 (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H). Actual damage depends on whether a usable POP gadget chain exists in the theme, WordPress core, or co-installed plugins, because that determines whether object injection escalates to code execution or full confidentiality, integrity, and availability loss. No public exploit code and no CISA KEV listing were identified at time of analysis, and real-world exposure is constrained by the narrow installed base of this specific commercial theme.
Reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) in the ThemeREX Education Center WordPress theme (versions up to and including 3.6.12) allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in a victim's browser when they click a crafted link. The flaw requires user interaction (UI:R) and no authentication (PR:N), and it is reported by Patchstack with a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.1; however, our assessment indicates no availability impact (A:N), limiting the impact to confidentiality and integrity of the victim's session. No public exploit code or active exploitation has been identified at time of analysis.
