CVE-2026-44879 Jul 21, 20:42 HIGH This Week

Command injection in the command line interface of HPE Aruba/EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateway (ECOS) allows a highly privileged, authenticated remote attacker to break out of certain CLI commands and run arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system. Because the flaw requires administrative-level CLI access (CVSS PR:H) it primarily enables an already-trusted operator to escalate from restricted CLI to full OS-level control, with full confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact. There is no public exploit identified at time of analysis and the issue is not listed in CISA KEV; EPSS data was not provided.

CVE-2026-44878 Jul 21, 20:42 HIGH This Week

Filesystem access in the web-based management interface of HPE EdgeConnect SD-WAN Gateway (ECOS) allows an authenticated, highly privileged remote administrator to reach the underlying device filesystem beyond the intended management scope. Once exploited, an attacker can read sensitive files and tamper with or delete system data, undermining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the gateway. There is no public exploit identified at time of analysis and the issue is not listed in CISA KEV; it is a vendor-reported (HPE) information-disclosure and data-tampering flaw with a CVSS base score of 7.2.
