CVE-2026-13458 Aug 01, 07:49 MEDIUM This Month

Stored Cross-Site Scripting in the GenerateBlocks WordPress plugin (all versions through 2.3.0) allows authenticated contributors to permanently inject malicious JavaScript into published pages by exploiting unsanitized dynamic tag rendering in non-URL HTML attributes. An attacker with contributor-level WordPress access can chain a dynamic tag placeholder (e.g., {{post_meta key:...}}) in an element attribute with a crafted post meta value containing attribute-breaking syntax, causing script execution in the browser of any subsequent visitor. No public exploit code has been identified at time of analysis and the vulnerability is not listed in CISA KEV, but the detailed technical disclosure from Wordfence lowers the bar for independent exploitation.

CVE-2026-9756 Jul 03, 07:53 MEDIUM This Month

Stored XSS in the GenerateBlocks WordPress plugin (all versions through 2.2.1) allows contributor-level authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript via the Headline Block's `linkMetaFieldType` dynamic link attribute, executing in the browser of any user - including site administrators - who clicks the injected headline link. The attack chains a `get_safe_user_meta_keys()` allowlist bypass with insufficient URI scheme validation to construct a fully attacker-controlled `javascript:` href. No CISA KEV listing exists at time of analysis, but Wordfence reporting and direct source code references lower the barrier to independent exploitation.

CVE-2026-3454 May 05, 06:43 MEDIUM This Month

GenerateBlocks plugin for WordPress up to version 2.2.0 fails to verify object-level authorization on the /wp-json/generateblocks/v1/dynamic-tag-replacements REST endpoint, allowing authenticated Contributor-level users to extract sensitive information from arbitrary posts including author email addresses and post meta values through crafted dynamic tag payloads. The vulnerability checks only for edit_posts capability but does not verify access to specific posts, exposing confidential data across the entire site to low-privilege authenticated users.
