Disable Users
Monthly
The Disable Users WordPress plugin (versions through 1.0.5) fails to apply its account-disabling control consistently across all authentication paths, so an attacker who holds the credentials of an account an administrator has disabled can still log in and operate with that account's original privileges. Exploitation requires pre-existing valid credentials for a previously disabled account (CVSS PR:L, base score 8.8), and the regained access is bounded by the role that account held - but where the disabled user was an administrator, the result is full site compromise (C:H/I:H/A:H). Publicly available exploit code exists per the WPScan disclosure; there is no indication of confirmed active exploitation (no CISA KEV entry in the provided data).
