| Exploitation Conditions | Requires a valid low-privilege authenticated session on the lamp-cloud application (PR:L) - it is NOT remote-unauthenticated. Given a session, the attacker calls the findUrlById handler of FileAnyoneController and supplies file ids owned by other users; the handler returns storage access URLs without any ownership/authorization check (CWE-639). Limiting factors: the attacker must obtain or register an account, and must know or enumerate valid file ids belonging to victims (ids appear to be user-controllable, which eases enumeration). No special non-default configuration or user interaction is required, and impact is confined to reading uploaded attachments (confidentiality only); affected deployments are those running lamp-cloud at or below version 5.10.1. |
| Impact | This is a genuine but bounded access-control issue rather than a top-tier emergency. The input CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N) describes a network-reachable, low-complexity flaw requiring low-privilege authentication (PR:L), with high confidentiality impact and no integrity or availability impact - consistent with CWE-639 (IDOR / authorization bypass through user-controlled key) and the description. Public exploit code exists (a Python PoC for the findUrlById endpoint), which raises practical exploitability for any party with a valid low-privilege account, but there is NO CISA KEV listing and NO EPSS score was provided in the input, so widespread or automated exploitation cannot be confirmed from the data. SSVC-style reading: exploitation = PoC available (not 'active'); technical impact = partial (confidentiality-only); automatable = likely (file ids can be enumerated and the handler performs no ownership check), but exposure is limited to deployments of a niche platform. Net: a real, confirmed-fixable confidentiality priority for anyone running lamp-cloud, but not a mass-exploitation threat on the available evidence. Note the single data signal to verify: the input Tag labels this 'Authentication Bypass', whereas the description and CWE-639 make clear it is an authorization/IDOR flaw affecting already-authenticated users - treat the tag as mislabeled. |
| Exploit ScenarioDerived | An attacker who already holds any low-privilege authenticated account on a lamp-cloud instance sends requests to the findUrlById handler of FileAnyoneController supplying file ids belonging to other users. Because the handler never verifies ownership, it returns storage access URLs that the attacker uses to download other users' uploaded attachments. A public Python PoC (poc_findUrlById_url.py) demonstrates this end to end. |

Alert meAnalysisAIv1 – Oct 12, 2026
Authenticated users of dromara lamp-cloud through 5.10.1 can obtain storage access URLs for files owned by other users by sending arbitrary file ids to the findUrlById handler of FileAnyoneController, which performs no ownership check (CWE-639) and exposes uploaded attachments to unauthorized reading. Exploitation requires only a valid low-privilege account and knowledge or enumeration of victim file ids; publicly available exploit code exists, but the issue is not in CISA KEV and impact is confidentiality-only per the independent assessment (CVSS 4.0 base 7.1; assessed CVSS 3.1 AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). This is a genuine but bounded access-control weakness rather than a top-tier emergency.
RemediationAI
No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis, so remediation currently depends on compensating controls. The primary code-level fix is to add an ownership/authorization check inside FileAnyoneController.findUrlById (and the FileContext URL-resolution path) that confirms the requesting principal owns the referenced file id or holds explicit permission on it before returning any storage URL, and to audit the rest of FileAnyoneController for the same missing check; a corrected release beyond 5.10.1 should be applied as soon as the vendor publishes one. Until then, restrict or disable the findUrlById endpoint at the gateway/reverse proxy (for example block /anyone/file/findUrlById or require elevated roles), accepting that this breaks any legitimate cross-user or anonymous attachment-link sharing that depends on it. Additional compensating measures: replace or supplement sequential/predictable file identifiers with unguessable UUID-based object keys to raise the cost of enumeration (defense in depth only, not a substitute for the missing check), enable and monitor access logs for bulk or sequential file-id requests and rate-limit the endpoint to slow enumeration, and constrain the exposure of the file service to trusted networks. Technical ContextAI · show details
lamp-cloud is a Java/Spring Cloud microservices rapid-development platform (dromara/lamp-cloud) whose file modules live in lamp-base-biz and lamp-base-controller. The vulnerability is an insecure direct object reference (CWE-639, Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key) rooted in the file URL resolution path: FileContext.java (lines 147-170 of commit d61184d7) builds a storage access URL from a caller-supplied file id, and FileAnyoneController.findUrlById (lines 75-80) invokes it without verifying that the requested object belongs to the authenticated principal or that the caller has any permission on it. Because the authorization decision uses a user-controllable key rather than binding that key to the session identity, any authenticated session can dereference another user's object. No non-default configuration or user interaction is needed; the weakness is inherent to the endpoint's logic, and the affected object class is stored user attachments, so the security property violated is confidentiality rather than integrity or availability.

DescriptionCVE.org
lamp-cloud through 5.10.1 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability that allows authenticated users to obtain storage URLs for other users' files by supplying arbitrary file ids. Attackers can send another user's file ids to the findUrlById handler of FileAnyoneController, which never checks ownership, to retrieve access URLs and read uploaded attachments.

Executive ViewAI
A broken access-control flaw in dromara lamp-cloud (versions through 5.10.1) allows any holder of a valid low-privilege account to retrieve download URLs for files uploaded by other users, potentially exposing business documents, customer attachments, and internal records stored in the platform. Because a working exploit is publicly available and the platform is typically deployed as a shared enterprise application, leadership should treat this as a manageable but real confidentiality risk affecting all tenants and user groups relying on the affected deployment. There is no integrity or availability impact, and no evidence of active exploitation has been reported, so the priority is disciplined exposure reduction rather than emergency shutdown.
No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis. Interim mitigations: restrict network access to the lamp-cloud application and its storage endpoints to trusted users and networks; disable or internally patch the FileAnyoneController findUrlById handler so requested file ids are validated against the caller's ownership; replace predictable or enumerable file identifiers with unguessable tokens; shorten generated storage URL lifetimes and avoid public bucket exposure; enable and monitor file-access logging for enumeration attempts; and apply least-privilege restrictions and credential rotation for accounts with file access until an upgrade beyond version 5.10.1 is available.
