While the vulnerability is in Oracle Sales Online, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Sales Online accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Sales Online accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.5 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N).

AnalysisAI

Oracle Sales Online, a component of Oracle E-Business Suite, is affected by an easily exploitable flaw in versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 that lets a low-privileged attacker with HTTP network access compromise the application and reach data outside its intended boundary (scope change). Successful exploitation can expose critical data or all Oracle Sales Online-accessible data, plus allow unauthorized insert, update, or delete of some records. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires three concrete preconditions: (1) network reachability to the Oracle Sales Online HTTP/HTTPS interface exposed by the E-Business Suite application tier - the CVSS vector is AV:N, so the endpoint must not be fully air-gapped from the attacker; (2) a valid, low-privileged Oracle Sales Online account (PR:L), i.e. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment This is a high-CVSS, network-reachable, low-complexity issue: AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N yields 8.5, and the only meaningful friction is the PR:L requirement, meaning the attacker must already hold a low-privileged Oracle Sales Online account - a low bar in most EBS deployments given self-service and partner/employee provisioning. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply the Oracle E-Business Suite patches published in the Critical Security Patch Update advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspusep2026.html - this is the primary and only vendor-released fix, and because Oracle EBS CPU patches are cumulative, applying the latest 12.2.x AD and DB patchsets for your platform supersedes earlier interim fixes; no standalone fix version number was provided in the input data, so confirm the specific patch ID against your My Oracle Support entitlement rather than assuming a version. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.
