AnalysisAI

Low-privileged abuse of the Order Management component in Oracle Siebel CRM (Siebel Apps - Customer Order Management, versions 17.0 through 26.7) allows an authenticated network attacker to create, delete, or modify critical order data and to read data beyond their authorization, provided a victim user is persuaded to interact with attacker-supplied content. The flaw is rated CVSS 3.1 8.7 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N) on the strength of its high confidentiality and integrity impact and its scope change, which means a successful attack executed in the victim's context can reach additional connected Oracle products; there is no availability impact. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires the attacker to hold a valid low-privileged account on the Siebel Apps - Customer Order Management (Order Management component) application reachable over HTTP, and requires human interaction from a different, typically higher-privileged user who must view or act on the attacker-supplied content (UI:R). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment This is a genuine but conditional priority. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply the vendor fix documented in the Oracle Critical Patch Update at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspusep2026.html, which is the patch reference supplied for CVE-2026-83144; compliance status is 'Patch available per vendor advisory' - the advisory does not publish a single discrete fix version in this record, so administrators must consult the CPU page for the exact Siebel patch set matching their installed 17.0-26.7 release and confirm the Order Management component is included. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours, confirm exactly which Siebel CRM environments run Customer Order Management on versions 17.0 through 26.7 by inventorying the Siebel Apps component versions in production, staging, and any externally reachable instances, and open a tracking ticket with Oracle Support referencing CVE-2026-83144 and the CVSS 3.1 8.7 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:N) to obtain a fix timeline; note that no vendor-released patch has been identified at time of analysis and no public exploit has been identified at time of analysis, so the immediate goal is exposure reduction rather than patch deployment. …
