DescriptionNVD

Vulnerability in the Oracle Field Service product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Field Service. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Field Service accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Field Service accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle Field Service. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.6 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:L).

AnalysisAI

Oracle Field Service, a component of Oracle E-Business Suite (Internal Operations module), is affected by an easily exploitable flaw in versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 that lets a low-privileged attacker with HTTP network access read critical data, modify or delete records, and partially disrupt service availability. The vulnerability carries a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.6 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:L), indicating high confidentiality impact with limited integrity and availability effects, and it does not require user interaction. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires (1) network reachability to the Oracle E-Business Suite HTTP listener hosting the Field Service module, and (2) a valid low-privileged authenticated account on that EBS instance - the PR:L metric means the attacker must already hold some level of credentials, contrary to the 'Authentication Bypass' tag in the source data. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 3.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:L) describes a remotely reachable, low-complexity flaw that requires a valid low-privileged account but no victim interaction, with the dominant impact being unauthorized access to critical field-service data. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply the Oracle Critical Security Patch Update that contains the Field Service fix - refer to the Oracle advisory at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspusep2026.html for the exact patch set and minimum baseline for your 12.2.x environment (no discrete patch version was supplied in the input data, so the advisory must be consulted directly). … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.
