AnalysisAIv1 – Sep 15, 2026

High-privileged attackers who already hold administrative-level LDAP credentials can fully take over the OID LDAP Server component of Oracle Internet Directory 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.2.1.0 by sending crafted requests over the network. Oracle rates this 7.2 on the CVSS 3.1 scale (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N, C/I/A all High), meaning a single low-complexity action against a reachable LDAP listener yields complete loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability for the directory service. No public exploit code has been identified at time of analysis and the flaw is not listed in CISA KEV; the high privilege prerequisite (PR:H) substantially narrows the realistic attacker set to insiders, compromised directory administrators, or attackers who have already escalated elsewhere in the environment.

What every action level means
Emergency Immediate action required. Criteria: CRITICAL + in CISA KEV (actively exploited) without patch, OR CRITICAL + EPSS > 30% without patch, OR CRITICAL + active threat signals without patch.
Act Now Prioritize within 24-48h. Criteria: in KEV with patch available, OR CRITICAL + public POC, OR HIGH + EPSS > 10%, OR CRITICAL + active threat, OR any CRITICAL severity.
This Week Schedule remediation this week. Criteria: HIGH severity (CVSS 7.0-8.9). Patch within normal change window.
This Month Plan within 30 days. Criteria: MEDIUM severity (CVSS 4.0-6.9), lower exploitation probability. Include in regular patch cycle.
Monitor Track and reassess. Criteria: LOW severity (CVSS 0.1-3.9), minimal exploitation risk. No immediate action needed.
