5DescriptionCVE.org
parallax filament-comments through 3.0.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in comment body rendering that allows authenticated panel users to inject malicious scripts. Attackers can store XSS payloads in comment bodies that execute in the browsers of other users viewing those comments, including administrators, enabling session token theft and unauthorized actions.
AnalysisAI
Stored cross-site scripting in parallax/filament-comments through 3.0.0 lets an authenticated panel user with comment-posting rights embed JavaScript in a comment body that later executes in the browser of anyone who views that comment, including administrators, enabling session-token theft and unauthorized actions performed as the victim. Exploitation requires a valid Filament admin-panel account (PR:L, authenticated) and depends on a higher-privileged user passively opening the view that renders the comment, so it is not pre-auth reachable; no public exploit code was identified at time of analysis, the issue is not in CISA KEV, and EPSS is only 0.24% (15th percentile). …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires an authenticated Filament admin-panel account with permission to post comments (PR:L) - exploitation is not possible pre-authentication. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine but bounded risk, not a drop-everything emergency. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch version is identified in the available advisory data for CVE-2026-90943, so the primary action is to treat the unescaped rendering in resources/views/comments.blade.php as the defect and fix it directly: replace the raw/un-escaped output of the comment body in that Blade view with escaped output (for example Blade's {{ }} escaping or an explicit e() call) or, if rich formatting must be preserved, pass comment bodies through an allowlist HTML sanitizer such as HTML Purifier server-side, accepting that legitimate inline markup not on the allowlist will be stripped. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours, inventory all deployments of parallax/filament-comments through 3.0.0, confirm whether the Filament admin panel is internet-facing or broadly accessible, and restrict comment-posting rights to the smallest set of trusted users; review recent comments, admin sessions, and authentication logs for suspicious activity. …
