DescriptionCVE.org

Froxlor before 2.3.7 fails to validate the mysql_server parameter against a customer's allowed_mysqlserver allowlist in the Mysqls.add API command. Attackers can supply a disallowed server index to create MySQL databases and users on forbidden servers, bypassing per-customer access controls.

AnalysisAI

Authorization bypass in Froxlor before 2.3.7 allows authenticated customers to create MySQL databases and users on any operator-configured server, regardless of per-customer server restrictions. The Mysqls.add API command validates the customer-supplied mysql_server parameter only for numeric format and server existence - the calling customer's allowed_mysqlserver allowlist is never consulted when the parameter is explicitly provided in the request. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Requires an authenticated Froxlor customer account (PR:L). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N) accurately characterizes the threat: network-exploitable with low complexity but requiring a valid authenticated customer session (PR:L). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Upgrade to Froxlor 2.3.7, which introduces proper allowed_mysqlserver allowlist validation in the Mysqls.add API command prior to accepting the mysql_server parameter. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
