DescriptionCVE.org

Flowise before 3.1.4 contains a broken access control vulnerability in GET /api/v1/organizationuser that allows any authenticated organization member to retrieve the organization owner's full user record including bcrypt password hash and temporary tokens. Attackers can query the endpoint with any user ID to obtain the owner's credential hash for offline cracking, enabling account takeover of the highest-privileged account.

AnalysisAI

Broken access control in Flowise before 3.1.4 exposes organization owners' bcrypt password hashes and temporary tokens to any authenticated organization member via the GET /api/v1/organizationuser endpoint. The endpoint authenticates callers but performs no authorization check, allowing a low-privilege member to query any user ID and retrieve the owner's full user record - including stored credential hashes - enabling offline password cracking and subsequent full administrative account takeover. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires the attacker to hold a valid authenticated session as an existing organization member in the target Flowise instance (PR:L). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 vector AV:N/AC:H/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N yields a score of 6.0, correctly reflecting that exploitation is network-accessible but limited to authenticated organization members, with a high-confidentiality impact and no integrity or availability consequence. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Upgrade Flowise to version 3.1.4 or later; this is the vendor-released patch confirming resolution of the broken access control in GET /api/v1/organizationuser, per GHSA-fhxm-xxcx-g6x3 at https://github.com/FlowiseAI/Flowise/security/advisories/GHSA-fhxm-xxcx-g6x3. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
