DescriptionCVE.org

A deployment mode intended to expose only read access to a bundled packet-analysis component's interface denies a list of write-capable routes by pattern, but the pattern omits routes that modify tags attached to stored session records, and the proxy configuration otherwise permits the request method those routes use. This allows an authenticated user on a deployment intended to be read-only to add or remove tags on stored session records.

AnalysisAI

Tag-write authorization bypass in a read-only deployment mode of a bundled packet-analysis component allows authenticated users to add or remove tags on stored network session records despite the deployment's intended read-only posture. The flaw stems from an incomplete deny-list pattern in the proxy configuration that blocks most write routes but leaves tag-modification endpoints exposed, combined with the proxy permitting the HTTP method those endpoints require. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires a valid authenticated user account on the affected system (PR:L per CVSS vector). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:N) scores 5.3 and accurately reflects the limited scope of impact: network-reachable, no elevated privileges beyond valid authentication, low integrity impact only, no confidentiality or availability consequence. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Consult ICS-CERT advisory ICSA-26-254-01 (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cisagov/CSAF/develop/csaf_files/OT/white/2026/icsa-26-254-01.json) for vendor-specific patch guidance, as an exact fixed version is not confirmed from the available input data. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Threat intelligence, references, and detailed analysis are available after sign-in.
