2DescriptionCVE.org
APITable through 1.13.0-beta.1 contains an incorrect authorization vulnerability in NodePermissionGuard that fails to enforce node-level access control when permission lookups throw exceptions. Attackers with valid Fusion API tokens can write attachments to private datasheets they have been explicitly denied access to by exploiting the unhandled exception in the permission guard.
AnalysisAI
Incorrect authorization in APITable's NodePermissionGuard allows authenticated API users to bypass explicit datasheet-level access denials via a fail-open exception path. Holders of valid Fusion API tokens can write attachments to private datasheets they have been explicitly denied access to, because the permission guard defaults to allowing operations rather than rejecting them when node-level permission lookups throw unhandled exceptions. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires possession of a valid Fusion API token for the target APITable instance. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N) with a score of 5.3 reflects network-accessible exploitation requiring only a valid API token, with impact limited to low integrity violation (VI:L) and no confidentiality or availability impact. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch with a confirmed fixed version has been identified at time of analysis. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
