2DescriptionCVE.org
The Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via 'no_results_message' node_preview Parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.11.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
AnalysisAI
Reflected XSS in Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) for WordPress (all versions ≤2.11.0.1) permits unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript via the unsanitized no_results_message parameter in the node_preview endpoint. Successful exploitation requires tricking a victim into clicking a crafted URL, after which the injected script executes in the victim's browser with access to session cookies, page DOM, and any credentials present in that context. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | The attack requires that the target WordPress site is running Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) at version 2.11.0.1 or earlier, and that the `node_preview` endpoint (which processes the `no_results_message` parameter) is reachable via the network. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 6.1 vector (AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N) accurately captures a classical reflected XSS profile: reachable over the internet without any attacker authentication, but gated on victim interaction (UI:R), which meaningfully limits automated or mass exploitation. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Update the Beaver Builder Plugin (Starter Version) to a release beyond 2.11.0.1; the exact patched version number is not specified in the provided references and should be verified against the WordPress Plugin Repository or the vendor site at https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/ and the Wordfence advisory at https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/074c95bb-c68e-452d-bd2e-c44866aeedba?source=cve. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
