DescriptionCVE.org

Easy!Appointments is a self hosted appointment scheduler. In versions prior to 1.6.0, Google::oauth at application/controllers/Google.php:278 stores its URL-supplied provider_id in the session, and oauth_callback saves the issued Google OAuth token against that row without checking the caller owns the provider. Any logged-in backend user (admin, provider, or secretary) rebinds a peer provider's Google sync to a Google account they control. The peer's appointments then sync into the attacker's calendar with each customer's name and email attached as attendee data. Version 1.6.0 patches the issue.

AnalysisAI

OAuth provider rebinding in Easy!Appointments prior to version 1.6.0 allows any authenticated backend user - including low-privilege secretary and provider roles - to silently hijack a peer provider's Google Calendar integration by supplying an arbitrary provider_id to the OAuth initiation endpoint. The attacker completes a legitimate Google OAuth flow with their own Google account, which the application then binds to the victim provider's database row without verifying ownership. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation The attacker must hold an active authenticated session as any backend user role - admin, provider, or secretary - in the target Easy!Appointments installation; anonymous access is insufficient. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The official CVSS 3.1 score of 3.1 (Low) with vector AV:N/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N understates realistic exploitation difficulty in one direction and overstates it in another. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario A secretary or provider account in a multi-user Easy!Appointments instance navigates to the Google OAuth initiation URL, substituting a peer provider's numeric ID (for example, provider_id=5) in place of their own. After clicking through the standard Google OAuth consent page with their own personal Google account, the application writes the resulting token to the victim's database row. …
Remediation Upgrade to Easy!Appointments version 1.6.0, which is confirmed as the patched release per the project description and the CHANGELOG entry in commit 4b2d245d2cd2058dc76e05f6eb65b26699268471. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.
