Pachno 1.0.6 contains a deserialization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code by injecting malicious serialized objects into cache files. Attackers can write PHP object payloads to world-writable cache files with predictable names in the cache directory, which are unserialized during framework bootstrap before authentication checks occur.
AnalysisAI
Remote code execution in Pachno 1.0.6 allows unauthenticated attackers to achieve arbitrary code execution by exploiting unsafe deserialization of PHP objects. Attackers write malicious serialized payloads to world-writable cache files with predictable names, which are automatically unserialized during framework bootstrap before authentication occurs. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | World-writable cache directory permissions on the Pachno installation's file cache storage location. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This represents a critical security risk despite moderate EPSS scoring. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | An unauthenticated remote attacker identifies a Pachno 1.0.6 installation and determines the predictable cache file path structure through reconnaissance or prior knowledge of the framework. The attacker crafts a malicious serialized PHP object payload containing a gadget chain that executes system commands, then writes this payload to the world-writable cache directory using standard HTTP requests or direct filesystem access if the web server misconfiguration allows file uploads. … |
| Remediation | Upgrade Pachno to a patched version beyond 1.0.6 immediately-consult the official Pachno project repository and security advisories at https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/pachno-filecache-deserialization-remote-code-execution for exact fixed release numbers. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
Recommended ActionAI
Within 24 hours: inventory all systems running Pachno 1.0.6 and assess internet exposure; immediately restrict network access to affected Pachno instances using firewall rules. …
