DescriptionCVE.org

The Hydra Booking - Appointment Scheduling & Booking Calendar WordPress plugin before 1.2.2 does not verify that a booking belongs to the requesting user before modifying or deleting it on two of its booking endpoints, allowing a booking-provider-level user to cancel and permanently delete other providers' bookings on the same site.

AnalysisAI

Authenticated users holding the plugin's booking-provider role on WordPress sites running Hydra Booking - Appointment Scheduling & Booking Calendar before 1.2.2 can cancel and permanently delete bookings belonging to other providers, because two booking endpoints act on a supplied booking identifier without confirming that the booking belongs to the requesting user. The issue is a classic insecure direct object reference (CWE-639) and is only meaningful on installations that host multiple providers, so single-provider sites gain no adversarial advantage. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Requires an authenticated account holding the plugin's 'booking-provider' role on a Hydra Booking installation running a version before 1.2.2; the attack is only meaningful on sites that host multiple providers (so foreign bookings exist to target). … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment This is a genuinely low-priority issue despite a publicly available PoC. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Vendor-released patch: upgrade Hydra Booking - Appointment Scheduling & Booking Calendar to version 1.2.2 or later, which is the first release that enforces booking ownership before the modify and delete endpoints act; because the plugin ships through the WordPress plugin repository, the update can normally be applied from the WordPress admin Plugins screen or via WP-CLI ('wp plugin update'), and WordPress-managed sites should be confirmed to have auto-updates enabled for this plugin. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.
