Improper privilege management in Mozilla Firefox's Enterprise Policies component lets a remote attacker escalate privileges inside the browser after convincing a user to interact with malicious content (CVSS 8.8, AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R). Successful exploitation yields high confidentiality, integrity and availability impact across the browser's security boundary, although CISA's SSVC assessment rates the flaw as not automatable and with no known exploitation. Fixes ship in Firefox 156 and Firefox ESR 153.3; no public exploit code or KEV listing has been identified at time of analysis.
