Oracle VM VirtualBox 7.2.16 (Core component) can be fully compromised by a low-privileged attacker who already has an interactive logon on the host where VirtualBox executes, allowing takeover of the VirtualBox process and, by extension, the workload it manages. The flaw carries a CVSS 3.1 base score of 7.8 with complete loss of confidentiality, integrity and availability, and is rated by Oracle as 'easily exploitable' with no user interaction required. No public exploit code has been identified at time of analysis, and the vulnerability is not listed in CISA KEV; exploitation requires local access rather than a remote network vector.
