DescriptionCVE.org

The Unlimited Elements for Elementor WordPress plugin before 2.0.21 does not escape an icon value before concatenating it into an HTML attribute in its shared widget-parameter processor, allowing users with Contributor access (who do not hold unfiltered_html) to store a payload that executes when the page is rendered.

AnalysisAI

Stored cross-site scripting in the Unlimited Elements for Elementor WordPress plugin before 2.0.21 allows an authenticated attacker holding only Contributor-level privileges - a role that does not have the unfiltered_html capability - to save an icon value that the plugin's shared widget-parameter processor concatenates unescaped into an HTML attribute, so the payload executes in the browser of whoever renders the affected page. Exploitation requires three conditions: a valid low-privilege account (Contributor), a victim who views the rendered page (user interaction), and a site that grants Contributor-and-above roles to untrusted users; sites that only hand these roles to trusted staff are not realistically exposed. …
