Any authenticated (PR:L) network user can exploit via simple HTTP with no interaction; integrity is high (overwrite/delete peer assets), availability low (file deletion side effect), confidentiality unaffected.

5DescriptionCVE.org
Craft CMS versions before 5.10.11 lack authorization checks in the assets/move-asset endpoint when force=1 is supplied. Authenticated users without peer asset permissions can move their own assets into other users' folders and force deletion of conflicting files, allowing unauthorized asset deletion and replacement.
AnalysisAI
Missing authorization enforcement in Craft CMS's assets/move-asset endpoint allows authenticated low-privilege users to move assets into other users' folders and force-delete conflicting files by supplying the force=1 parameter. Versions 5.0.0 through 5.10.10 are affected; version 5.10.11 resolves the flaw. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires a valid authenticated session with any low-privilege Craft CMS account (PR:L) - no administrator or elevated role is needed. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 vector (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N) reflects a low-barrier, network-exploitable flaw requiring only a valid authenticated session with no special configuration prerequisites, yielding a 7.1 score weighted toward high integrity impact (VI:H) with low availability impact (VA:L) and no confidentiality exposure (VC:N). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade to Craft CMS 5.10.11 or later, which closes the missing authorization check in the assets/move-asset endpoint. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
