Oracle Sales, the sales module of Oracle E-Business Suite (supported versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15), exposes critical business data to any low-privileged authenticated user who can reach its HTTP interface. A crafted request against the Internal Operations component bypasses the intended access boundary, and because the CVSS vector carries a scope change (S:C), the exposure is not limited to Oracle Sales — data reachable through additional Oracle products can be read as well. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Sales. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Sales, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change).
