Oracle XML Gateway, the E-Business Suite module that exchanges XML business documents with external trading partners, exposes critical data to any low-privileged user who can reach its HTTP endpoints in versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15. A successful attack gives the intruder read access to data they should not see — described by Oracle as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all XML Gateway accessible data — and also allows a partial denial of service that degrades the module's availability. The flaw is trivially reachable (network vector, low complexity, no user interaction), and no public exploit code has been identified at the time of analysis.
