3DescriptionCVE.org
Dolibarr before 24.0.0 contains a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the extra fields administration template where the type request parameter is echoed without JavaScript-context encoding into an inline script block and no Content-Security-Policy header is emitted. An unauthenticated attacker can cause an authenticated administrator to open a crafted URL to execute arbitrary JavaScript in that session and create a persistent administrator account.
AnalysisAI
Reflected XSS in Dolibarr's extra fields administration template (all versions before 24.0.0) allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in an authenticated administrator's browser session by delivering a crafted URL containing a malicious type parameter. The parameter is echoed without JavaScript-context encoding directly into an inline script block, and no Content-Security-Policy header is present to block the execution. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | The victim must be an authenticated Dolibarr administrator with an active browser session at the time they open the crafted URL - a low-privilege authenticated user cannot trigger the account-creation payload because admin-only API endpoints require administrator privileges. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 4.0 base score of 5.1 reflects the mandatory user-interaction requirement (UI:A), which meaningfully limits opportunistic exploitation. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade Dolibarr to version 24.0.0 or later, which contains the patch committed in 3094b0aa3b500ff51020b660a7e66ffcb9d1cd91 (https://github.com/Dolibarr/dolibarr/commit/3094b0aa3b500ff51020b660a7e66ffcb9d1cd91). … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
