Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Scripting. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Scripting accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Oracle Scripting accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N).

AnalysisAI

Oracle Scripting within Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 exposes a network-accessible vulnerability in the Internal Operations component, allowing a low-privileged authenticated attacker to gain complete unauthorized read access to all Oracle Scripting-accessible data and limited write access via HTTP. The vulnerability carries an Authentication Bypass tag, indicating the flaw permits privilege escalation beyond the attacker's intended authorization level within the module. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation Exploitation requires a valid low-privileged Oracle E-Business Suite user account with network access to the application over HTTP - the CVSS vector (PR:L) confirms some authentication is required, and unauthenticated exploitation is not indicated. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 7.1 score reflects a high confidentiality impact (C:H) paired with a low integrity impact (I:L) across a network-reachable, low-complexity, low-privilege attack surface - a combination that represents genuine enterprise risk rather than theoretical concern. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Apply Oracle's August 2026 Critical Patch Update (CPU), published at https://www.oracle.com/security-alerts/cspuaug2026.html, which is Oracle's primary and recommended remediation for this vulnerability in Oracle Scripting. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours: Inventory Oracle E-Business Suite instances (versions 12.2.3-12.2.15) and identify which low-privileged accounts have Scripting component access and what sensitive data they can reach. …
