Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Process Manufacturing Systems. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Process Manufacturing Systems accessible data as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Process Manufacturing Systems accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.1 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N).
Executive ViewAI
A vulnerability in Oracle E-Business Suite's Process Manufacturing module (versions 12.2.3-12.2.15) allows any user with low-privileged system access to view, alter, and delete all manufacturing operational data; no public exploit identified at time of analysis. Organizations risk data breach, regulatory exposure, and operational disruption from internal misuse or compromised accounts.
Within 24 hours, inventory all Oracle E-Business Suite deployments and identify which are running versions 12.2.3-12.2.15 with Process Manufacturing enabled; secure existing access logs for forensic review. Within 7 days, restrict HTTP network access to the Process Manufacturing module to known authorized networks, enable comprehensive audit logging for all module operations, and begin daily monitoring for unusual data access or modification. Within 30 days, apply the Oracle Critical Patch Update of July 2026 when available, or initiate emergency upgrade planning if release is delayed.
No vendor-released patch identified at time of analysis; vendor has scheduled fix for Oracle Critical Patch Update of July 2026. Interim measures: Restrict network-layer access to the Process Manufacturing module to authorized administrative networks only; audit and limit low-privilege user account permissions to sensitive manufacturing data; implement Web Application Firewall rules to detect and block bulk or unusual data operations; establish real-time alerts on data access, creation, modification, or deletion events within the module; disable the module if not in active use; consider air-gapping the application during this critical period if operationally feasible.
