DescriptionCVE.org

A vulnerability has been identified in Teamcenter V2412 (All versions < V2412.0013), Teamcenter V2506 (All versions < V2506.0010), Teamcenter V2512 (All versions < V2512.2607), Teamcenter V2606 (All versions < V2606.2607). Affected applications do not properly encode user-supplied input reflected into HTML attribute contexts within the authentication redirect flow (/auth/ endpoint). This could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the browser of an authenticated user who loads a crafted URL, enabling the attacker to perform actions within the victim's Teamcenter session.

AnalysisAI

Reflected XSS in Siemens Teamcenter's authentication redirect endpoint (/auth/) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the browser of an already-authenticated user by delivering a crafted URL. Four active Teamcenter release trains are affected across versions prior to V2412.0013, V2506.0010, V2512.2607, and V2606.2607. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI

Exploitation The attacker requires no authentication and no special server-side configuration - the /auth/ endpoint is part of the standard authentication redirect flow present in all affected deployments. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment.
Risk Assessment The CVSS 4.0 score of 8.5 (AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N) accurately characterises the threat: network-reachable, low-complexity attack with no attacker privileges required, but requiring the victim to actively load a crafted URL (UI:A). … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in.
Exploit Scenario Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in.
Remediation Siemens has released patched versions for all four affected trains: upgrade Teamcenter V2412 to V2412.0013 or later, V2506 to V2506.0010 or later, V2512 to V2512.2607 or later, and V2606 to V2606.2607 or later. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report.

Recommended ActionAI

Within 24 hours: identify all Siemens Teamcenter instances in production across affected versions (prior to V2412.0013, V2506.0010, V2512.2607, and V2606.2607), assess whether the /auth/ endpoint is internet-facing, and establish vendor communication for patch availability. …
