Network-accessible REST API requires a low-privilege OAuth token (PR:L); no integrity or availability impact; scope unchanged as data exposure stays within the CMS application boundary.

2DescriptionCVE.org
Concrete CMS 9.2.0 to 9.5.2 Express REST API list endpoint exposes restricted Express entries via Missing Authorization; the Concrete CMS REST API's Express entry collection endpoint disabled the per-entry view permission check. An OAuth token with read scope for an Express entity could enumerate entries that its user context lacked permission to view, disclosing each entry's public identifier, URL, label, dates, and any attribute or associated-entry data requested via the includes parameter. The Concrete CMS security team gave this vulnerability a CVSS v4.0 score of 6.0 with vector CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N. Thanks riodrwn for reporting.
AnalysisAI
Missing per-entry authorization in Concrete CMS 9.2.0-9.5.2 allows any low-privileged OAuth token holder to enumerate Express entries they are not permitted to view via the REST API collection endpoint. The Express entry list endpoint omitted the per-entry view permission check, so a token with read scope for an Express entity returns restricted records including identifiers, URLs, labels, dates, and any custom attribute or associated-entry data requested through the includes parameter. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires a valid OAuth token with read scope for the specific Express entity being targeted on a Concrete CMS installation running versions 9.2.0-9.5.2. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The vendor-assessed CVSS 4.0 score of 6.0 (AT:P/PR:L) captures the realistic risk well: exploitation is not trivial because an attacker must already possess a valid OAuth token with read scope for the targeted Express entity, and the AT:P metric flags this specific prerequisite. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Upgrade to Concrete CMS 9.5.3 or later, which restores per-entry view permission enforcement on the Express REST API collection endpoint, as confirmed by the vendor's 9.5.3 release notes at https://documentation.concretecms.org/developers/introduction/version-history/953-release-notes. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
