The Builderall for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Photo Module 'attributes' Setting in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
AnalysisAI
Stored cross-site scripting in the Builderall for WordPress plugin (versions ≤3.0.2) allows authenticated contributors to inject persistent JavaScript via the Photo Module's unsanitized 'attributes' setting, executing against any subsequent visitor to an affected page. The attack requires only contributor-level WordPress credentials and results in scope-changed impact against victim browsers, enabling session hijacking or malicious redirects. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Exploitation requires an active WordPress account with at minimum contributor-level role on the target site, enabling the attacker to create or edit page-builder content and access the Photo Module's 'attributes' setting. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | The CVSS 3.1 score of 6.4 with vector AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N accurately captures the network reachability, low-complexity, and scope-change characteristics but the UI:N designation warrants scrutiny - successful exploitation still requires a victim to visit the injected page, which is technically user interaction under CVSS 3.1 semantics; a UI:R assignment would be more defensible and is used in this analysis. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | Update the Builderall for WordPress plugin to a version higher than 3.0.2 as soon as one becomes available; consult the Wordfence advisory at https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/7b2688ee-f416-4fce-b73a-864f31057146 for the confirmed fixed release version, as the exact patched tag is not independently confirmed from the available data (trunk-branch references suggest a fix has been committed but a tagged release version was not specified in the input). … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
