TDuck survey form through 6.0 fails to enforce form fill-in restrictions on the authenticated submission endpoint POST /user/form/data/create. Authenticated attackers who know a form's key can submit unlimited entries to any form, bypassing publish status, time window, quota, and per-IP restrictions to falsify collected results.
AnalysisAI
Authenticated users who know a form's key can flood TDuck Survey Form through 6.0 with unlimited submissions via POST /user/form/data/create, because that endpoint never enforces the form's publish status, time window, quota, or per-IP limits - letting an attacker falsify or inflate collected survey results. The defect requires only a low-privileged TDuck account (CVSS 3.1 PR:L) plus the target form key, is remotely exploitable over HTTP with no user interaction, and is strictly an integrity issue: no confidential data can be read and no denial of service results. …

Vulnerability AssessmentAI
| Exploitation | Requires an authenticated TDuck account (PR:L) AND knowledge of the target form's key; exploitation is remote over HTTP against default configurations of TDuck survey form through version 6.0. … Additional conditions and limiting factors are described in the full assessment. |
| Risk Assessment | This is a genuine but low-severity authorization defect, not a high-impact issue. … Full risk analysis with EPSS, KEV, and SSVC signal comparison available after sign-in. |
| Exploit Scenario | Full exploit scenario with step-by-step reproduction available after sign-in. |
| Remediation | No vendor-released patch is identified at time of analysis, so the practical first step is to upgrade to any release later than 6.0 as soon as the maintainers publish one, and to track the project repository at https://github.com/TDuckCloud/tduck-survey-form for a fix; the VulnCheck advisory at https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/tduck-survey-form-through-6.0-fill-in-restriction-bypass-via-authenticated-submission-endpoint should be consulted for updates. … Detailed patch versions, workarounds, and compensating controls in full report. |
